The Rockdale County Public School system and the Partners in Education sponsored a tour of local schools for area real estate agents.

On May 6 a group of real estate agents were given the opportunity to visit Rockdale Career Academy, Rockdale Magnet School, and CJ Hicks Elementary School. The real estate agents were able to observe the students, the various programs and the 21st century technologies being used to educate Rockdale county students. The tour was the first of many tours that will allow residents of Rockdale county to learn more about the award winning programs that the Rockdale County Public School system offers. Real estate agents were selected for the first tour as they regularly talk with newcomers about the community and the school systems. Future tours are planned throughout the coming school year.
